Black Professionals in Tech Network (BPTN) will partner with Ten Thousand Coffees (10KC) in an effort to advance mentoring and executive networking opportunities for Black professionals. It also intends to bridge the Black talent gap across North America in the technology industry.
BPTN holds the title of North America’s largest Black community of tech and business professionals. It and Obsidi by BPTN feature 50,000 members and over 66 corporate partners. 10KC, a software company with a focus on career development, will provide its networking platform to BPTN which will then form a space for Black professionals to converse with executives in North America.
BPTN’s Head of Customer Experience Davin Miller said of the partnership, “The goal is to enhance the experience of BPTN members and our corporate partner executives.”
Miller went on to say Black professionals in tech will have more opportunities to connect, learn and grow careers with peers, mentors, executives, and BPTN’s corporate partners.The partnership allows BPTN to expand on its CULTIVATE Mentoring Program, an initiative that matches 350 professionals aged 29 and younger with executives in the tech and business space.
The collaboration will introduce 10KC’s Mentoring module as part of the BPTN CULTIVATE Mentoring Program.
