Alabama metals manufacturer O’Neal Industries last week acquired a Tennessee tubing producer in an effort to bolster its growth in “higher-valued” segments.
G&L Manufacturing, which operates from its headquarters in Cookeville, Tennessee, and a second facility in Denver, Colorado, produces small-diameter, thin-wall tubing with proprietary forming and seam welding technology. The company’s tubing is made in stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloys, and Monel nickel-copper alloy.
O’Neal officials said G&L supplies blue-chip OEM and Tier 1 customers across a range of heat- and corrosion-resistant applications, including heating elements, vehicle fuel systems, and HVAC systems.
“ONI companies are leaders in their respective markets, and we are proud that they chose G&L,” Peter Neuberger, the company’s president, said in a statement. “This is a powerful combination that will bring added value to our customers and added opportunity for the G&L team.”
G&L will retain its name with a new tagline, “An ONI Company.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
