A California-based manufacturer of metal building panels will expand to Pennsylvania in an effort to better reach markets in the northeastern U.S., state officials announced Friday.
All Weather Insulated Panels, which makes foam composite insulated metal panels at factories in Vacaville, California, and Little Rock, Arkansas, will invest $24 million to overhaul an existing facility in Stroud Township near the New Jersey state line.
The 13-year-old company’s third manufacturing facility is expected to create 70 jobs over the next three years.
Natalia Rizzatti, AWIP’s president, said the plant would feature a “best-in-class” production line and help realize the company’s expansion ambitions.
“This location provides us with a strategic geographic position that will support our ambitious growth plans,” Rizzatti said in the announcement.
The company is eligible for nearly $400,000 in state grants and $70,000 in tax credits if it meets its hiring goals.
