A manufacturer of air filters plans to create more than 300 new jobs as it expands in North Carolina.
CleanAire LLC, which will do business as Pamlico Air, will invest $10 million in its operations in Wilson County, including a new facility in Wilson, North Carolina, to produce air filters. The company manufactures air filtration products for the commercial, retail, wholesale and industrial markets, North Carolina officials said in a statement.
“We have a lot of ties to eastern North Carolina and are thankful for the support we have received from the city of Wilson and the state to make this opportunity a reality,” Pamlico Air CEO Travis Stephenson added in the announcement.
The company is eligible for a grant of $250,000 from the One North Carolina Fund to assist construction — which must be matched by local governments — provided it meets investment and hiring goals.
