Home appliance company Samsung Electronics presented its Home AI vision at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can shape modern living. The company’s booth covered a variety of themes, including Home for Wellness, Home for Productivity, Home for Art, Home for Loved Ones, and Home for Efficiency.

The Home for Wellness zone showcased Galaxy wearable devices, SmartThings integration, and Samsung Health designed to address priorities like diet and sleep. For example, the wearables offer sleep management solutions, track sleep patterns, and offer recommendations to enhance sleep quality. SmartThings can optimize the sleep environment by adjusting connected lighting, beds, air purifiers, and blinds.

Home for Productivity featured tools intended to boost study and work. The zone allowed visitors to experience AI Select from the Galaxy Book5 Pro, which lets users search certain screen areas or extract text from images.

Home for Art unveiled a collaboration between Samsung Art Store and multiple art institutions, including the MET and Museum of Modern Art. The zone provided a cultural experience and highlighted the diverse capabilities of Samsung screens.

Home for Loved Ones introduced visitors to artificial intelligence solutions that assist in caring for plants, pets, and family members. Utilizing connected sensors, SmartThings can spot incidents and send emergency alerts to televisions, smartphones, and refrigerators.

Home for Efficiency showed how SmartThings Energy and artificial intelligence technology streamline energy management and tasks. For instance, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo adjusts drying and washing depending on fabric type and eliminates the need to transfer laundry between machines. Additionally, the Jet Bot Combo learns daily routines to autonomously mop and clean floors.
