Robust.AI has teamed up with global manufacturing giant Foxconn to ramp up production of its Carter™ collaborative robotics platform.
Carter Robots
The Carter robots are designed to assist human workers rather than replace them, so they offer flexible functionality for everything from picking to sorting, adapting to shifting warehouse needs in real time.
They’ve already proven their value; At a DHL Supply Chain facility in Las Vegas, the Carter fleet delivered a remarkable 60% boost in picking productivity within just weeks of deployment.
Warehouse Automation
The warehouse automation market is expected to soar from $26.5 billion in 2024 to $115.8 billion by 2034. Despite this, around 80% of warehouses still operate without any automation.
That’s where Carter comes in—bridging the gap between traditional logistics and the AI-powered future, offering an accessible, scalable solution designed for today’s changing supply chain environments.
Foxconn, Robust.AI Collaboration
Foxconn and Robust.AI have worked closely since Carter’s early development, with Foxconn engineers even helping build robots in the U.S. to speed up deployment timelines.
This latest development is another step in Foxconn’s growing robotics focus under its “3+3” development strategy, which focuses on three emerging industries (electric vehicles, digital health, and robotics) alongside three core technologies (AI, semiconductors, and next-gen communications).
For Robust.AI, the partnership helps fulfill its mission to bring human-centered, intuitive automation to warehouses around the world. They’ll boost productivity while making robotics easier to adopt and more enjoyable to use.
