A custom contract manufacturing services company has established a unit devoted to helping clients grow their intellectual property. ABS Corporation serves the cosmetics, personal care, dental, disinfectants, drug/OTC, medical devices, dietary supplement, nutritional, and animal health industries with product development.
Winner of more than 100 awards, ABS created the Contract Research Organization (CRO) group to meet the growing needs of clients seeking to take their product from ideation to full-scale manufacturing. The group offers research, formulary work, raw material and packaging sourcing from qualified vendors, and small pilot batches. The CRO will assist the client from prototypes to large-scale production runs.

ABS’s contract manufacturing services include hot and cold liquid manufacturing; powder blending and granulation; a range of tablet sizes from small effervescent to large bolus that can be created at a rate of 250,000 tablets per shift; two-piece hard-shell gelatin capsules that can be created at a rate of 500,000 capsules per shift; and more. They have four facilities, each devoted to different manufacturing lines, and their facilities are cGMP-, FDA-, organic-, EPA-, and USDA-compliant.
The CRO group joins ABS’s standard contract manufacturing services, in which clients submit their formulation or ideation and RFQ to receive a full review and quotation. The family-owned company has been providing its services from Omaha, Nebraska, for more than 60 years.
