Leading Manufacturer of Gooseneck Tubing Offers American-made Customization

A premier manufacturer of flexible metal tubing has developed the first miniature, customizable flexible tubing down to a diameter of 0.095 inch. Uniprise International, Inc.’s miniature flexible tubing, commonly referred to as gooseneck tubing, is the first of its kind to be manufactured in the USA to such small dimensions for smaller-scale yet ruggedly demanding projects.

“We have a dedicated engineering team that works with clients to create custom solutions to meet their specific needs, whether that’s a particular size, application, or other need-based use case,” says Phil Porter, president of Uniprise. “We can also upgrade the products they’re already using to further enhance their capabilities.”

Backed by its ISO 9001:2015 certification, Uniprise also designs and develops standard-sized flexible metal tubing with a variety of bending radius and rigidity extents. Its gooseneck tubing sizes range from 0.095 inches (2.4 mm) to 0.850″ (21.6 mm) and, depending on the specifications, can support up to 272 ounces horizontally.

Founded in 1976, the Terryville, Connecticut-based company engineers gooseneck products for military applications, including parachutes, vehicles, and communication equipment, life-saving, customized medical device applications, and other industrial use cases.

Flexible gooseneck tubing is unique in that it is the only device on the market that can perform all the following functions:

  • support another object
  • hold an object in a sustained position
  • endure in rigidity
  • maintain a bending diameter
  • adjust to repositioning
  • connect two objects
  • act as a conduit for such objects as electrical wires
  • protect the conduit it houses.
