Wire manufacturer Banker Wire this week announced its move into a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The company, which produces woven and welded wire mesh for architectural and industrial applications, moved about two miles from its previous facility to a “state-of-the-art” building in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. The new facility, company officials said, was customized to accommodate its 150-employee workforce while increasing production capacity and improving efficiency.
Banker Wire President Dave Stout said he believes the facility “is now the best, most efficient wire mesh manufacturing location in the world.”
The company said the campus improves the entire production process — from raw material to shipping finished products — and enables smooth transitions between projects that can range from 1 square foot of wire mesh to more than 150,000 square feet.
The company’s wire is used in a wide range of industrial capacities, including machine guards, water screens, filtrations structures, and ventilation systems.
“The facility has provided an incredible foundation for our company’s continued growth,” Stout said in a statement.
